wedding investment starts at $2500.

You're about to get married! Time to celebrate, plan, and take it all in. I would love to document the love between the two of you, and all the people who are there to celebrate you, in the story of your wedding day. The day goes by so fast, from putting your dress, to seeing each other for the first time, to walking down the aisle together as a married couple feeling all of those truly “JUST MARRIED!” feelings - I will be there to capture it all.

My style of photography is capturing and documenting the real raw moments - just as they happen. Wedding days bring so many people together, and so much emotion. I am on your side throughout the day, to be the calm if there is chaos, or to take charge during those family portraits. My style is centered around remembering the day and the feelings of it - creating natural moments that are playful, intimate, celebratory, and full of feeling. It’s your wedding day, I want you to be yourself. Sound like we’d be a good fit? If so, send me a note!

Q: How far do you travel for weddings?

A: I am based out of Minneapolis, MN, but am always excited to travel.

Q: How long until I see my photos?

A: For weddings I understand how fun it is to be able to see and share your own photos of your wedding day immediately after - instead of waiting weeks for a final gallery, so I prioritize sending a preview gallery (usually 30 or so photos) to you shortly after for you to share if you wish. The final gallery takes a bit more time as I sort through thousands of photos and edit each one myself. My typical timeline is typically 4-5 weeks.

Q: How many photos will I receive?**

A: I typically deliver anywhere from 600-1000 photos of a wedding day. The range and numnber depends a bit on length of coverage as well as the type of wedding you have.

Q: Do you take posed family photos on a wedding day?

A: Yes of course:) . I try to keep these as low stress as possible for the couple and limit the timeframe of these to 15-30min. Typically these are limited to immediate family and grandparents, but I am flexible. Staying effiecent is more in informing everyone involved ahead of time where to be at what time.

Q: What is your approach to photographing a wedding day?

A: The day is such a whirlwind, so my goal is to capture the moments that are fleeting and fast. I never want to alter your wedding day reality, instead I want to appreciate and find beauty in the things that make it yours. The little details, emotional reactions, and all the hugs. All of these things are so important to me.

Q: What is a "first look" and should we consider having one?

A: A “first look” is seeing your fiancée before the ceremony and shooting your portrait session. It can be incredibly beneficial to ensuring that you can also enjoy our wedding day, but ultimately it is your day and I am there to support you and document it. It is good to know that when photos get pushed to after the ceremony, my couples typically have to miss their cocktail hour. That being said, I am here to help work through the schedulue to optimize your wishes for you day.

It’s also important to me to stay to my belief that your wedding day is not a photoshoot. It’s a day of celebration and joy – and I want to enhance that – not hinder it. My goal is to capture your day, give you amazing images to remember it, and be there for you as support throughout the process.

Q: Do you work off of a shot list? Do I need to tell you photos I am looking for?

A: I find that the beauty of wedding photography is in the surprise and the uniqueness of each couple and each day. I prefer not to work off of a shot list some wedding website told you to think about or have (The Knot, Wedding Wire, etc) but instead focus on giving you images that are authentic to your story.

I will however work with you prior to the wedding on recognizing who is important, a list of family formals as well as other important aspects of the day that you would want photographed.
